We are Val and Chris  Nicholls-Roddy, and our home in Leicestershire is shared with seven Forest Cats and Patsy our tortoiseshell 'moggie'.

 Being cat lovers and long term owners of many rescue cats  we both became interested in the breed early in 2006. Our main aim in all of this is to breed loving and healthy kittens of this beautiful natural cat............we want them to remain just as nature intended them to ! :-)

Our cattery name 'Anitkatts' stems from its first four letters;

ANature Intended Them,

We felt that those few words go just a short way towards defining the Norwegian Forest Cat :-)

(Though It would take a lot more than four words to sum up this wonderful animal.....and then some!)

 We are very grateful to Firoza and Na'il Davies of  Jotunkatts for our

Girls &Boys  Milva, Mystique, Yoro Kobi , Viking and  and our latest addition y Moon Shadow who is going to be our first stud boy (when he grows up ;-D )

 We also have 2 lady neuters from our own breeding; Red Sonja & Lady Polgara and our 'old lady' rescue cat Patsy..

 Our cats are our family and as such are free to roam around the house and their garden at their leisure, it's probably more true to say that we are just their caretakers and mortgage payers!

Having spent many months designing and  building an outside area suitable for them they now have their own secure garden accessed by a cat flap from the house.  meaning that they can come and go as they wish while  remaining safe from harm.

We keep adding to  and modifying  the garden so that they periodically have new areas or objects to explore....

I think we enjoy doing this as much as they experience it ;-)

pics of the garden are on our gallery page...

 Enjoy your visit to our site, it will always be a work in progress!

We are more than happy to talk to anyone interested in the breed, and if you do have any queries Please do feel free to contact us by : telephone 01858 431297
